Vader has to be in this movie since he is chasing down princess Leia's Ship in A New Hope after the death star plans. What would be cooler still is that Ahsoka was part of the rebels who stole them and we have Vader vs Ahsoka and her death and we maybe see the first change crack in vader. We dont know what vader is thinking until he does something because vader reacts on emotion. A reaction to killing your Padwan must be something. What does Vader chasing Leia's ship in Star Wars have to do with it? The events of this movie take place immediately before that point in The Saga. It's certainly possible for Vader to make an appearance, but there's nothing in the plot that requires him. |

It's certainly possible for Vader to make an appearance, but there's nothing in the plot that requires him. Disney and Lucasfilm wouldn't pass on a golden opportunity. |

They need to established how hot vader was on the tail of or involved in those plans getting taken and be cool too see how long vader had been chasing LEia for those plans

I gotta go with Neverending on this one. Aside from Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, all the other movies with the word rogue in their title I found on IMDB were films I'd never heard of. Which one created a stigma for you?

Rogue One sound fitting for a movie centered around the rebellion against the Evil Empire. Be kinda neet to see Alderaan on a gran scale for you may feel for its distruction more when the Death Star blows it up.

Geez, I've been reading over the star wars threads today and notice that a majority of the people posting in these are such cynical bastards, lol. What's with all the SW negativity? I won't make any judgments until I see the film, but I will say that it does look interesting to say the least.

Are people seriously speculating that what's-her-face is Rey's mom? Considering that she never appears in the original trilogy, I find that very difficult to believe. MY guess is that all these characters die at the end of the movie. They're probably at the planet that the empire blows up. Let's not forget that was the initial rebel headquarters and where Leia was heading in Episode IV. They hid the plans with his ship because she was supposed to be on a diplomatic mission, not trying to battle the empire. It's possible they could have swung by, gave it to her and then headed to rebel headquarters while the whole empire was after them and not Leia. How Vader finds out Leia has it, I don't know.

In A New Hope Vader says he Tracked down Leia as part of the rebellion by way of the Rebel Spies. So my guess is Vader found weak members of this unit and Tortured them.
