Vastly, vastly prefer the third (and least available) version of the movie, the Extended Cut with Alternate Ending. Until then, I thought it was exciting but a clear step down for Affleck from Gone Baby Gone even if this is far more cinematic. The third version is darker but feels more true to the overall spirit of the rest of the film.

The Extended Cut is on the Blu Ray version of the film that I own, but I still haven't watched it yet. I still love the Theatrical, though.
