Is Dracula seriously the only person who has seen The Quick and the Dead? I'm outraged. Also... like always... don't pay attention to Dracula. That is NOT Leo's worst performance. This might be one of the most ridiculous things Dracula has ever posted. The Quick and the Dead is one of the few movies where Leo isn't over-acting. And yes, Leo is a notorious over-actor. If you really think Leo DiCaprio is a great actor, I question your sanity. He makes great movies. He works with great filmmakers. But his method of acting is "let me shout as loud as I can." Watch The Quick and the Dead. Witness a Leo DiCaprio who never shouts. I haven't seen The Quick and the Dead in years, I remember it being quite enjoyable but don't recall DiCaprio's performance in it being particularly memorable. Within DiCaprio's two phases (pretty boy phase and Scorsese accolade phase) he's been a pretty consistent performer so the "worst Dicaprio performance" is not necessarily meant to be that much of an insult. I loved The Quick and the Dead, a Sam Raimi classic, although I agree that Leo was pretty much on cruise control for that film. What surprises me even more is that Dracula was the only person to recognize Leo for his work in The Basketball Diaries, which is arguably one of Leo's best early performances: Powerful scene.

Kevin Spacey has done a lot of great movies, but he has also done a lot of shitty movies. Let's just agree that The Usual Suspects, Se7en and American Beauty are the Holy Trinity of his career and move on before we dissect his career too much and get depressed.

1. Seven 2. American Beauty 3. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil 4. K-pax 5. Pay it Forward 6. Superman Returns I'm pretty sure you've seen more than 6 movies with Kevin Spacey. He was the bad guy in the Gene Wilder & Richard Pryor classic, See No Evil Hear No Evil.

Yeah I went though the iMdb list trying to remember if I'd seen him in anything else - but it's been so long I don't remember the performances

Interesting - You'd rank Superman Returns that high? I thought he'd be a better Lex Luther than he turned out to be - maybe it's the things they gave him to say and do but I wasn't impressed

Also the more I look at this filmography the more a lot of these performances seem kind of the same, but his work in that movie really stands out.

I'm embarrassed to say I never saw Malcolm X... Unforgivable. 1. Training Day 2. Man On Fire 3. Philadelphia 4. The Book of Eli 5. Inside Man 6. The Seige 7. The Pelican Brief 8. Much Ado About Nothing 9. Deja Vu PG Cooper you need to watch Man On Fire and you need to do it NOW. Denz is aflame in that flick.

Denzel has a lot of charm and a great command of the screen, but he hasn't been a serious actor in ages. I prefer Denzel in Spike Lee movies than in Tony Scott movies. Sorry, Deexan.

It's always easier to get the kudos in the biopics...Inside Man, meanwhile, ain't shit.
Denzel is one of the few actors that brings the goods regardless of who's behind the camera.
Training Day Malcolm X Man On Fire The Hurricane Philadelphia Glory
And a shout out to The Pelican Brief, the first Denz film I ever saw that my aunty had on VHS - him and Julia Roberts, John Grisham adaptation I think. Even as a pre-teen I remember loving the story and their performances. I need to re-watch it, it's literally been 20 years.
Book of Eli is hugely underrated, too.
