I went in with maybe the lowest expectations I've ever had for a movie I was going to see at the theater, so it's possible I might be too kind here.
'50 Shades' is not the worst film I've ever seen. That doesn't mean it's good, or even entertaining though. A film featuring two mind-bogglingly uninteresting characters as its leads is not a smart idea. I've been told they cut a lot from the novel, but I've seen enough to know that it probably wouldn't make a difference. Neither of them have a shred of personality.
Also, he's a 27 year old billionaire? Give me a break. I thought the sex was more subdued than I expected, but I also had no idea really what to expect I guess.
The more I write about this the more I hate it.

No I'm aware that they exist, but I wanted to know how he had amassed his fortune. The explanation they gave in the movie was basically "hard work."
