I only watched two episodes and I don't think I can go anymore. Really genuinely terrible, even compared to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s first couple of episodes. It's even worse when you compare it to The Flash's pilot. And I don't agree that it's better than S.H.I.E.L.D., especially in that show's current state, which is so much better than when it began. Also, Iain De Caestecker (Fitz) on S.H.I.E.L.D. is acting rings around each and every person on Gotham right now as well. Iain's scene seeing Ward for the first time is one of the most stellar pieces of TV acting I have seen in a while. As for Gotham, I'm still watching and I'll give it the season but it's mostly because I already have it set on my DVR at this point.

Why did Jim Gordon have a cell phone? They go out of their way to have old crt tvs and computers, how does he have a flip phone from the mid 00s? They probably needed him to have one as a narrative shortcut and they mostly likely decided it would be less distracting than giving him an 80s style "brick" phone. It's one of the benefits of having a sort of wishy-washy chronology. Anyway, yeah, Monday's episode wasn't very good. I still don't think the show is terrible by any means but a few more episodes like that and I'm going to have to reconsider.

No I get why they did it, but it was unnecessary. Especially how they have been quite careful about not having new cars or technology in it up until this point.

Should I start watching Gotham? Is it any good? Depends how interested/forgiving you are and what your standards for quality television are.

Should I start watching Gotham? Is it any good? There's so much other better television on the air right now that currently, this show doesn't deserve the attention. If it improves then just revisit it.

Gotham has potential to show the Detective Side of Bruce Wayne and tell some back stories on Gotham villains but I still Like Coulson and Shield more and Shield has been better since Hydra was revealed and Ward became a trader.

Actually, I think it's been getting better every week. I kind of loved last night's episode.

So the last episode saved the show for me. I thought Cobblepot was gonna bother the hell out of me by four episodes in but I am absolutely loving what they're doing with him.

And now it seems by the previews of Monday's return to the air - Cobblepot is finally embracing his moniker
Woo hoo can't wait to see it on Hulu again Tuesday!

He's arguably my favorite part. Finally caught up last week. I also like that Alfred has to learn how to be a guardian and Bullock. There are still things I don't like *cough*fishmooney*cough*...but it's done enough to keep me interested for now.

I've been watching this show. It's on the cusp of watchability. If I wasn't curious what they're going to do with Batman lore, then I wouldn't be watching.

Im sorry I just dont see James Gordan naming his daughter after the blonde train wreck who seems a bit off mentally. Unless the women at the prison is named barbara too.
