Trump has finally spoken publicly about the Supreme Court ruling against the Texas abortion law, 5 to 3. He said, "Now if we had—Scalia was living, or if Scalia was replaced by me, you wouldn’t have had that, OK? It would’ve been the opposite", so apparently he thinks that 3+1=6. I suppose that would also mean that Trump thinks 6+5=9, since there are nine Justice positions on the Supreme Court. No wonder this guy's gone through so many bankruptcies.

People don't call out Republicans enough for the fact that the reddest states are more often than not the shitiest ones.

I love it when my mom and I talk about politics. I tell her I'm watching Sanders endorsing Clinton (Nice speech btw), and right away she said, "Oh, I turned that off, I couldn't stand to listen to them." I told her why I am voting Democratic because I like the combined platform they hashed out a few days ago. Then she turns around to tell me to keep an open mind when the Republican convention is on. Lol I should keep an open mind, while hers is completely made up to vote Republican no matter what happens? Hahahahahàha yeah that'll happen. I've already been listening to the Republican side, and I seriously doubt that, no matter if anyone steals the nomination from Trump or not, I seriously doubt that the message will be any more palatable.

Republican party is dead in the water, Trump is proof that saying the party is vulnerable is an understatement. They've gotta change their ways, problem is they're also the least likely to do so.

What the Republicans need to do is decide what kind of party they want to be once and for all. Are they going to represent Americans who believe in low taxes, fiscal responsibility and limited government? Or are they going to pander to anti-intellectual evangelical Christians while shooting money out of a cannon like they've been doing for the past 16 years? I think it was Bobby Jindal who in one of his rare moments of clarity said after the 2012 election that 'the Republicans have to stop being the party of stupid.'

Exactly. I'm more conservative when it comes to fiscal issues, but I'm so against their brain dead social policies that I could never side or vote for them. The problem is that's a huge percentage of their voters. And yet they consistently put their foot in their mouths time and time again with their backward stances and the moronic mascots that they promote (Sarah Palin, Kim Davis, the Duggar family) just show how out of touch the party is. They could get away with this stuff in the 80s, but the times have changed and their staunchest supporters are, well, dying out. Also, they don't have strong leaders. Reagan was a definite leader. Since then, it's been a very weak field to choose from. It's either blowhard idiots like Trump and Gingrich or guys who I don't dislike but have no confidence that they can lead the nation like Romney and McCain. Or just total dipshits like Ben Carson and Ted Cruz. They're a mess and aren't willing to look in the mirror. They should've done it after 2012, but have actually gotten significantly worse and more disjointed. Which would be hilarious, except that their stupidity affects American citizens, so it sucks.

The Republicans of today are the democrats of the 1960's. They need a Lyndon Johnson. And ironically, their Johnson, their Gary Johnson is running as a Libertarian. Say what you want about Johnson, but he's the perfect compromise: a pot-smoking liberal who believes in small government and fiscal responsibility. I wanna see that motherfucker at the debates. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if there's a year for a 3rd party to go mainstream, it's this one.

The Republican platform seems to be designed to....
Promote the growth of the unwashed masses Give the rich all kinds of business breaks and then in turn... Make the unwashed masses to work for wages that don't allow them to make ends meet... In the hopes that the rich will toss the masses a bone once in a while so they can congratulate each other and Pat themselves on the back.
But the real reason for the unwashed masses is to entice them to enter the armed services under the guise of giving them an education, so that they will have someone to toss at foreign countries that interfere with their business endeavors .
-OR-
Simply put
Phase one:. Collect underpants Phase two: ? ? ? Phase three: Profit
