Guys can we give it a rest? Lets move onto a topic we can all agree on: climate change. Doomsday and SnoBorderZero have no water. They're living on Red Bull. It's true, my urine is neon.

California is expected to get ravaged by one of the biggest El Nino storms ever recorded. That won't completely solve the drought dilemma but it should certainly help.

Yeah, Southern California has actually seen more severe weather and storms this year than Northern. Weird.

True, I love the sound of the rain at night. Too bad we never hear it anymore. I feel like rain and water is becoming an urban legend we tell California children now. "Use water sparingly... or else the water demon will get you!!" "Silly Grandpa, water doesn't exist! You made all that up!"

Anyone watch the debates last night? I am having to catch up this morning on it. Spent last night getting the kids ready for the first day of school.
From what I have been able to piece together there doesn't seem to be a real winner. Trump had some zingers but nobody stood out.
Rand Paul has a solid following but just seems weak.
Huckabee could pull it off and would be a great President but he is too far right for thee general public.
The rest are just jokes.
Looks like a third straight election where there may be a winner but in the end we are all losers.

Huckabee was the clown of the event. Our military is there to "kill people and break things"? Uhhhh, I thought it was to defend our freedom and help those less fortunate but okay. Huckabee has always been a moron who, like Rick Santorum, is only relevant because of the religious drones that eat up his bullshit but won't get anywhere when sensible people start to weigh in. Paul was hilarious and I liked what he had to say, but we all know there's no way he'll get the GOP nomination even though he's the "realest" guy up there. Trump was funny, but it's clear this is going to come down to Bush and Walker. Fox News tossed everyone softballs except for Trump though, which is totally unfair. I don't like the guy either, but why is he getting peppered with questions and attacks on his character and "Republican-ness" and the others aren't? It was clear they had an agenda there and it came off as totally unprofessional and actually made Trump look... good? Nah, but still, leave it to Fox News to be unfair at their own event.
But hey, all in all it was pretty entertaining, I'll certainly give it that.

Man. 24+ million tuned in to the debate last night. Insane numbers when compared to other debates. Also now the highest rated cable news program ever.

Well Ferguson is back in the news. A bunch of "peaceful" protesters were in the streets literally changing for war and then one or more of them started shooting.
Who are they wanting war against? The police? The government? The crowd, from the short videos I saw appeared to be all black. So are they wanting a war against white people?
If a white supremacist group or group of middle easterners were shouting for war they would be investigated as a terrorist group. Is that going to happen here?

As it's been with most of the protest related violence. The violence isn't being caused by protestors. Violence is coming from opportunistic thugs who want to take advantage of the situation.
