I'm personally numbed by all the things Trump should be arrested for but probably won't be. If he leaves in the back of a police car, that will be fantastic.
But for now, kicking him out of the White House is a win.

Winning in Georgia is a must. Without the Senate, and with Moscow Mitch in the way, Joe Biden won’t get anything done. Getting rid of Trump is amazing but the issues go much deeper than him. We seriously need to get rid of every single Republican currently in office. I really hope that people get involved in politics moving forward. Voting for a President every 4 years is not even the bare minimum. People gotta get invested in their Mayoral races, in choosing their Governors, their Senators, etc. Our system was built on checks and balances and currently their isn’t one — and their hasn’t been one for a long time.

Honestly, at this point I'm more worried about the evil theater chains than the independent cinemas. Indie theaters, at least in wealthy urban areas will always probably have some sort of dedicated following that will keep them afloat at least as a concept. If some of them close in the pandemic others will open up behind them. But if AMC or Regal really do shut down and that infrastructure goes away we may never get it back. |

Wonder Woman is surprisingly doing okay. Cinema might have life post-pandemic. But let’s see how it does on HBO Max and where the money flows. I think theatres will survive but they’ll be running at a much smaller scale. I’m not sure we’ll ever go back to Avengers: Endgame level of success. |
