I'll vote for whoever has the best chance to beat Trump in the primary, then for them in the general.

I got Yang, Biden, Bloomberg, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Warren, Steyer. I got Yang, Buttigieg, Biden, Klobuchar, Gabbard, Bloomberg, Warren, Steyer and Sanders dead last. But some of the questions were a bit broad and some of the answer-options varied from “campaign promises” to plausible policy. Like, for example, we all know Bernie wants free college for all, but realistically, that’s not gonna happen anytime soon. BUT reducing the debt is within the realm of possibility. So if you chose that option you’re gonna get Uncle Joe Biden instead of Bernie. What this quiz shows is that Bernie has been very hyperbolic. Sure, that worked spectacularly well for Trump but I don’t know how well it’ll do with Liberals/Democrats.

True, but it's kind of hard to say "I'm voting for Bernie because he won't accomplish the crazy shit."

True, but it's kind of hard to say "I'm voting for Bernie because he won't accomplish the crazy shit." All three of us got Yang for #1 but all three of us know that’d be like voting for Ralph Nader or Jill Stein. Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are the only viable options. You go with the least offensive choice.

And the poor rural voters that can swing electoral votes can be swayed by their wallets.
Worked for Lee Carter in VA, it can work on a national scale.

And the poor rural voters that can swing electoral votes can be swayed by their wallets. Not just that, but the system working against certain candidates. We saw Bernie get fucked over in 2016. And we're seeing some of that this year with Yang. He has 0% chance of getting the nomination, even though he’s our #1. That’s why mid-term elections are SUPER important. You gotta change the system before you even start thinking of President. You gotta work from the bottom up.

You waste your vote on Jill Stein and Donald Trump becomes president, which is a disaster, but if you "waste" your vote on Yang then Biden/Warren/Sanders becomes the candidate, and I can life with that. Also, in the Democratic primary candidates get proportional delegates so it's fundamentally different from the winner take all electoral college.

Will Warren aka Pocahontas fail too? Is Biden too Obama-like? Trump made it up the ladder by firing up the racists. Is Bernie too old, too hyperbolic? This isn’t 2008 & 2012. We aren’t going up against John McCain and Mitt Romney. You can’t just throw a vote away.

Eh, if you're not actively saying anyone not like you is a piece of garbage I'd suppose anyone can win.
That deplorables comment, etc..

We aren’t going up against John McCain and Mitt Romney. You can’t just throw a vote away. While I am generally a believer in pragmatic voting I see so many pros and cons with all of these people that I find it hard to play that game. Biden has what I basically consider to have the electable policy positions but frankly looks like he's lost it at times. You watch him stumble through these debates and he hardly looks like the sure thing that some people assume he is. Buttigieg has reasonable policy positions but his lack of experience could turn out to be an issue in the general and Trump won't think twice about how hypocritical it will be to attack him for that. I have zero intention of supporting Sanders given that I find his handling of his 2016 loss to be disqualifying and I feel like his positions are too extreme, however, for whatever reason he does seem to have more appeal to less affluent voters than his competitors and that could be an asset and as much as I hate it keeping his crazy-ass followers happy could relieve us of one headache in the general (and if he loses bad in the general they might learn something). Warren actually could be well positioned to unite both sides of the party. The left leaning activists might be able to get behind her and she has more room to pivot to the center during the general. However, I'm not sure how much I trust her political instincts and hearing "Pocahontas" is going to get very annoying very fast.

I'd suppose anyone can win. We were all so certain Hilary would win. I mean, technically, she did. It goes beyond a battle of personalities. You gotta play the electoral college in your favor. I’d love it for Trump to win the popular vote in 2020 but lose the electoral, just to see the hypocrisy in full display on the Republican side. We’re seeing some of that now with the impeachment. But Clinton’s impeachment was 20 years ago. People just don’t remember. 2016 felt like yesterday. To see Republicans lose their shit could have a major ripple effect. Who knows, it could be what finally kills the electoral college.

"Other"? That's not a good sign.
so, Moscow Mitch wants a trial from 1pm to 1am (the Chief Justice works until noon on his day job). So with breaks that makes things go as late as 2am or later.
He also wants a trial with. no witnesses and no evidence.
they're afraid of the truth

In further evidence we need to get rid of the two-party system, we have MoscowMitch in one corner obstructing the impeachment trial and CrookedHilary on the other corner starting shit with Bernie. Only reason we sleep at night is because Deexan’s the UK is a bigger shit hole. Grass always greener. Isn’t that what the say? Thank you, Deexan. Keep making us look good.

I doubt Trump will have a second term. (not a full one in any case) Yeah, remember when they said he wouldn't last a full year in his first term? By all means, he shouldn't of either. This guy is way too protected by his party. They know that once he's out, they probably won't be back in power for at least another decade or two.
