Last year's Polar Vortex was awesome. I hope this year's Polar Vortex is just as good... or better!

I hope we get a little snow down here. We actually accumulated enough, back in 2010, to build a mini snowman. Very rare down here in south Georgia. Our 20 month old has never seen snow yet so it would be a nice treat.

It snowed in Georgia last year. If it happens this year, Justin will have a little reminder of home.

Yea but we were in Florida at the time. There were a couple of small flurries but nothing stuck, just lots of ice on the roads then.

Haha not quite. Got sucked down there after I was laid off from IBM. Luckily we are back in Georgia now though =) Probably won't see any snow, at least the weather channel isn't showing it as a chance =/

IBM? What is this, the 1950's? We all know the Apple II is the future of home computers.

If this "polar vortex" thing becomes an annual tradition I'm going to have to find a new place to live, I swear to god.

IBM? What is this, the 1950's? We all know the Apple II is the future of home computers. Yea they still ran crap like it was 1950, hence their crappy stock prices and massive layoffs. I was one of 2000+ who got a 24 hours notice that we no longer had work.

They haven't been relevant since Bill Gates fucked them over with Windows.

Lotta local bars run a Polar Vortex special, you get a full 16 oz (sometimes 20 oz) pour of craft beer for a specific price. Bring on the cold temperatures I say! Oh forgot to say, they only offer that when it goes below a certain temperature. Normally in the mid teens or lower.
Plus, I love my winter coats. All of them.

It's actually been pretty mild here for the better part of a month, been in the high 20s and low 30s for a while.
