Apparently my system does not support Direct x 11.
I ran a test and it said The full installed DirectX version is: 6.1.7601.17514

And it also said this was an up to date version of what my computer could handle.

Sounds like I need a different video card?

I have an Alienware M17XR3 with Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

Sounds rather generic for a card huh?

How would I go about selecting and updating to a new card?

(I have Alien Isolation and Shadow of Mordor sitting idle because I do not have Direct X 11 - bummer huh?)
