I think it is arbitrary to make resolutions on new years, but alas, I hope to not smoke anymore cigarettes within the week, and to cut my white flour and sugar consumption to a minimal level. And add a meatless/salad day to my cooking rotation.

Anyone have any bona fide resolutions they're going to try to stick to? I'm extending my handbag ban from 2014 to 2015. Last year was a success and now it's time to keep it going. I'm currently saving for a house, so I have been cutting down excessive spending. Purses and clothes were easily my 2 most unnecessary additional expenses. Any time I'm feeling weak I ask myself if I'd rather have a new bag or granite countertops. That's a pretty easy decision to make. Here's to a happy and healthy 2015 to everyone! |

I just got a new job about 6 months ago which is closer and better pay for which I am thankful. However the past few months have put me in a place to consider my position in life and what it is I really want to do and how I would get there. All that aside I'm going to need to figure a way to get out of my industry altogether. It's not easy but certainly not impossible.
