Considering how badly most of the Spidey-adjacent movies from Sony have gone, this is a far more logical move. The average moviegoer hasn't the slightest idea who Kraven The Hunter is. They may not know who Spider-Man Noir is either, but at least they get to put Spider-Man in the title without making people angry.
