Another prequel, this time set a century before The Prequel Trilogy. I'll probably watch it, I suppose. I'm certainly not bouncing in anticipation, though.

Let the fact that Weinstein's assistant was the showrunner not distract you.

I've heard rumors, whispers, mere soft breaths from people close to the project and apparently it's every bit as bad as fans are suspecting. We'll see if it turns out to be true but I haven't heard good things.

Disney has said they will crack down on pws in June so I was assuming maybe they thought this would drive the additional accounts people set up.
I advise you to just kick it to the curb.

Uh oh, this was one I was actually looking forward to Not to polish my own knob but I've worked on a few of these and by and large I would say to myself 'these are okay at best like Mandalorian, stupidly bad at worst like Boba Fett.' I will say though, I think Skeleton Crew is a lot of fun. It's got a good set of writers in Jon Watts and Chris Ford if you're a fan of Homecoming/Far From Home/No Way Home, it's funny and doesn't use callbacks as a crutch. There are easter eggs of course but nothing like 'REMEMBER (insert obscure character)?' It's not going to make millions of people resubscribe to Disney+ but I think it's better than most of the Star Wars offerings we've been given of late. I'm just hoping there will be enough people still interested in the franchise by the time it comes out which at this point won't be for a while now that Acolyte has taken its spot.
