Clearly ripping project hail Mary off with that alien design but I'm def intrigued. I have to disagree on that one. This looks to be nothing more than a giant spider, no different than a typical spider from Earth other than it's size. Rocky was made of rock, had five limbs which all had claws at the ends, no head and no eyes. The spider in Spaceman is either the result of lazy design, or doesn't actually exist beyond Sandler's damaged psyche. As for the movie itself, I'm also intrigued. The trailer doesn't give the viewer much to go on. He's in space all alone and steadily going nuts due to isolation. There's a weird pink light in the Earth's sky that's so close and bright that it can be seen in the daytime. He encounters a giant spider with mental powers, maybe. |

Guess this book was written quite a bit before weirs... So maybe it was opposite? He liked the idea of the arachnid and built it into his story. There's def some influence going on here though. |

Definitely jumping on the intrigued bandwagon. I'm assuming he's just going nuts, and that's what we're probably supposed to think, but I kind of hope it turns out he's not. Gonna try to make sure my wife doesn't watch any trailers and just goes into it without knowing anything about it. It feels like one of those types of movies.

Every 5 years we get hyped on an Adam Sandler movie. SnoBorderZero chose the wrong comedian to work for. He could have gotten free vacations to Hawaii and twice a decade made a legitimate movie. |
