Biggest question for next year that's dominating this season: where will Ohtani end up?
Guy is destined to make $500-600 million. I could see the Dodgers. Or Mets. Giants could also be a dark horse. They need a star. He's for sure leaving the Angels. That franchise has no clue how to build around him and Trout.
Either way, Ohtani has to be the most coveted free agent in sports history, right?

Yea ohatani gonna get paid dudes unreal.
Buccos brought up the '21 number 1 overall pick. Guy was mashing early in AAA. We sure could use some offense, need cruz back in a hurry too. Still a good chunk of the season to give up on and ship Reynolds out like he asked early on.
But I mean nutting has to start seeing all these sports owners getting absolutely paid to sell and start considering it himself - not living forever and everyone hates him. So. Much.
Centrals still a bloodbath though and bucs will go streaking at some point.

I hadn't realized how terrible the Cardinals are this year. It's pretty funny seeing them firmly sitting in last place while the Reds -- the REDS -- are in first.
The two central divisions are basically a wash. AL Central is just pathetically noncompetitive.

People seem to keep forgetting that like 5 of the last 6 super deals (dont quote me) were busts. THey just never pan out. Pujols, Machado, every person the Yankees grabbed.

Won't be seeing anyone close to the rarity of Ohtani in his being an all star both pitching and catching. I'll have a little laugh when I see future delusional news articles about the Blue Jay's getting him. Blue Jay's media loves to speculate on huge all star pitchers especially, coming to the Jay's and it rarely happens.
