And that...had nothing to do with the 90s. And That 70's Show didn't have anything to do with the 70's. The reason That 80's Show got cancelled almost immediately was that it tried to be about the 80's instead of about the characters. The era is just the backdrop for the characters. |

Still picking seeds outta the weed in the 90s. Really nothing of import changed. The actors are much younger than the 70s show og characters no? Or are the ages pretty analogous to the original cast?

The actors were not, but the characters were all supposed to be around 16 years old (Kelso 17 and Jackie 15), which was fine. Not sure if this is going to turn out to be a mistake that they actually went with actors the same age as their characters, who are even younger this time around. The majority of them are 14-15, I think? Maybe one or two a little older. Reyn Doi was freakin 12 at the time of shooting...

Nonetheless, Mila Kunis looked like a child in those early seasons of That 70’s Show and that’s what people are complaining about here with the new cast. The producers likely shrugged it off cause everyone tolerated Kunis back in the day. |
