The GOP platform has since evolved into countering whatever the fuck the liberals are in favor of because that makes them the most money. Joe Biden could say "We need oxygen to breath" and Tucker Carlson would run a segment ranting "Hold on, why are we in favor of oxygen when plants need carbon dioxide to thrive? I'm just asking questions." It would be more along the lines of... Biden: We need oxygen to breathe. Carlson: 'Oxygen' to breathe? Does the leader of the free world not know that air is composed of multiple elements including nitrogen which makes up a majority of said air? If air were one hundred percent oxygen we would be dead in a matter of seconds. But Joe Biden doesn't know that, or even scarier still is he does and is trying to promote his own idea of oxygen propaganda for people throughout the country to inhale, no pun intended. Joining us now is molecular biologist Winifred Bumstead to explain just how oxygen and air are different and what Joe Biden has in store for those of us who want to continue breathing regular air freely... |

There was a doc on hbomax about a bit of a grifter who tried to invent a three wheeled car called The Lady and the Dale the inventor/proprietor ended up cross dressing and eventually transitioning into a woman, leaving behind a family and a lot of questions, he also defrauded people some money as well.
But this local news anchor was interviewed and consistently was incredibly nasty to her, just a real piece of shit, even for the 70s, refused to call her a woman or by her female name, always dragged her through the mud not necessarily because she was a grifter, but because he considered her a freak. They didn't reveal who this anchor was, his name was saved until the very end - it ended up being revealed this anchor was Tucker Carlson's dad.

How does pro-Putin commentary happen at all in the US these days? I'm very out of the loop with Carlson and those of his his ilk. That said, I would have thought a war with all the atrocities being reported in real time, the American people would follow suit with their historical generations and condemn it to the nth degree. Maybe I'm just super misinformed and naive. Or maybe it's too scary for me to think that there are large factions holding these sentiments in the US.
Edit: To clarify, I'm not advocating for censored media,

This is so sad. What is the end game here? I don't think there's anything that angers me more right now politically than folks claiming to be left and supporting Russia. They're on par with the alt right in my book. I'm a late adopter, but I get why folks hate Twitter so much. |
