Traditionally Godzilla shows are all animated, though he has been in a few live action shows. Godzilla was a guest character in the 1970's toku superhero series Zone Fighter (which also featured King Ghidorah and Gigan) and Japan also had a cute little series called Godzilla Island, which had all the monster scenes portrayed by action figures with live action characters interacting with them. Those episodes were only three minutes long.

Fun fact: the pop song they used to open that series used to be my ringtone.
