Awesome. Although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious what a PG-13 Deadpool would look like (and how they would have to creatively work with it), but this is for the best. Well you saw how they handled Live Free or Die Hard. They made it work but it was cheesy as hell when McClane's yippee ki yay was censored with a gun shot. Imagine that but with a crap ton more words censored with a crap ton more gun shots. |

The idea behind a PG-13 working with Deadpool is the fact that he can break the fourth wall. You can literally bleep out the curse words, and he can acknowledge it. I brought it up in the old thread that if a PG-13 ended up being required, they could still make it work simply due to who the character is. He could say "What the ****? Why am I getting ****ing bleeped? Damnit, is this a PG-13 movie!?" -- You could have a nude woman with a mosaic covering her naughty bits, and Deadpool saying to the audience "Oh my. If only the rest of you could see this right now." Etc etc. I'm actually curious how they'll handle the character now, if he he ends up being mixed in with the X-Men at a later time. |

Eh I think he should be a standalone character with maybe a cameo at best in other films. Too many mutants running around already in the X-Men movies. This guy needs his own space to shine and not just a quick one liner here and there.
