All caught up glad we got magic in la his story in Michigan was grating. And I like that actor a lot more than I thought I would. Reilly really saves the show though, he's so damn charismatic.

I watched this last month and, despite not being big on Adam McKay's typical style and only being a casual fan at best of basketball, I was riveted the whole way through. Excellent, compelling stuff.

Got the wife hooked so we watching regularly now.
She did some googling and I guess this show ruined will Ferrell and Adam mckays friendship - McKay had apparently promised the role of Jerry buss to will but ended up changing his mind for John c Reilly and Ferrell hasn't spoken to McKay ever since.
But second season is good.
