I'll tell ya what the butlerverse is one of my favorite guilty pleasure universes. I absolutely hate the team behind Greenland and Olympus and angel has fallen, I think those are low effort, extremely soapy, and the CGI is awful, and the action isn't that exciting if you ask me. Not my preferred flavor of the b-verse.
But enter Joe Carnahan - this movie surprised the hell outta me. I was expecting another low effort flick, but this movie moves. You've got a nice cast of characters on this, couple double crosses and some shady characters in the police station creates a pseudo assault on precinct 13 with some fun kills and one very fun psychopath.
And a very fun funk soundtrack really sets this thing off.
It might not be a theater worthy experience but I would def recommend seeking this out when it begins dominating streaming (cuz it's gonna dominate).
On the sliding genre scale I might go as high as 7.5/10 - very solid dug it.
