Me taking a picture of my hard drive won't really get the point across. Im all digital now. Even the legit purchases have been transferred. I run a Media Server PC that streams out to all my Roku devices and tablets and computers.
I used to have a nice collection of VHS tapes and then DVDs but the selections were slim here in south Georgia, you know before the internets made everything easy to get.
My mother used to record movies from HBO/Sho/Cinemax/TMC/Encore, 3 per tape. She had a collection of 700 tapes at one point, all labeled and numbered, along with a hand written catalog showing where each movie was, alphabetically and by tape number.
I guess I got the habit from her.

That HBO intro is one of the greatest things from my childhood. Sounds ridiculous but I will never forget the excitement of jumping on the couch and watching this while waiting for the new movie to start.

This may seem weird but I keep all of my DVD's in a CD-case. I've grown increasingly more OCD about clutter. For awhile, my apartment looked like I had just moved in. I think I just threw up a little. |
