Here, left it available for editing in case you wanted to see how numbers changed with someone's vote thrown out.
Wherever there was a tie, the one with the lesser range high/low won out.

In a bit of revenge for the last list, Doomsday personally held The Shining out of first place with his ranking of 52. I like The Shining but I don't love The Shining. Frankly I'm surprised it ranked as high as it did. The fact that you no doubt had Tombstone and Braveheart above The Shining...*shudders*

Interesting, so it looks like everyone had a different number one choice but no one had Raiders at number one.

Braveheart, yes. Tombstone, no. Almost half the list was underneath it after all. Tombstone just seems like such a Doomsday movie. So in a bit of a behind-the-scenes look...as I was compiling all of the CS! Voice blurbs, I routinely DM'ed Dooms when it came to certain movies like Tombstone, Das Boot, Heat and a couple others cause I just knew they were "Doomsday movies" and wanted to make sure it was him speaking up for them. Like...there was no way I wasn't gonna have the quotes for Heat and Braveheart, especially, not be his.

Braveheart, yes. Tombstone, no. Almost half the list was underneath it after all. Tombstone just seems like such a Doomsday movie. It's the definite dad movie and mine watched it a lot while I was growing up. What can I say, I'm a product of the 90s. I mentioned how when you hit a certain age, 35 or so, you automatically gravitate towards Longmire and Yellowstone, it's just in the bones of every male on the planet. Same with movies like Tombstone, Open Range and the like. Don't try fighting it, you can't win no matter how many Bergman and Fellini movies you try to drown your feelings with. However I will take Unforgiven and Sergio Leone over Tombstone any day.

Tombstone is better than The Shining.
There. I've settled this debate.

Would we straight-up want to do the 60's and 70's, or try something a little different, like our version of the AFI Top 100 Thrills or something?

I would love to do 60s/70s. Whether we do it next or we just do it eventually works for me. 100 laughs could be interesting too.

The thing about doing 100 Laughs is I don't want it to devolve into endless arguments about if something is really a comedy. I'd want to use an expansive Golden Globes-esque definition of what's eligible for that, including everything from pure farce to dry social satire, then let the votes decide what gets in.

Kind of the same way AFI's Thrills list run the gamut from horror to action to suspenseful gangster movies.

I'm not sure how we'd do the 100 thrills list myself but willing to listen to the idea.
Genre lists are more easily packable. And 60-70s is surefire.
Genre or decade or whatever i think that a wider watching period might be needed, if only for selfish reasons. Not much time for movie binges in my life right now

I'm also willing to brainstorm ground rules for more genre-specific lists like thrills or laughs. So, the floor's open there.

Alright, after some last-minute deals, we have nine new additions.
The Terminator, The Truman Show, The Princess Bride, The Insider, Jackie Brown, Platoon, Scream, The Double Life of Veronique, and in an eleventh hour sniper act, Dirty Work are let in.
Final Tally:
The Terminator - 4 The Truman Show - 4 The Princess Bride - 4 Jackie Brown - 3 The Insider - 3 Platoon - 3 Scream - 3 The Double Life of Veronique - 3 Dirty Work - 3
Everything else - 2, 1 or 0.
Nice work, franky. That puts the list at 81 movies. We're in the home stretch now.
Putting you and your Letterboxd review on blast PhantomKnight after reviewing one of the top 100 movies in cinema history.
