Well, I finally tracked down All About My Mother. Rented it through Google Play since Unobstructed View messed up my Blu-Ray order. Was it worth all that hassle? Yeah. Wonderful movie. Pulls off a very tricky tonal and narrative balancing act that really moved me by the end. It's also made with a ton of confidence and energy. Should have my list submitted soon. |

Man on the Moon is FINALLY getting a Blu Ray release, courtesy of Kino Lorber next month. Needless to say, I'm excited and have already pre-ordered a copy from Amazon.

Watched Once Upon a Time in America today. For as much as I thought the direction was phenomenal, the pace incredibly smooth for such a long film and the overall story engaging…the characters actually didn’t jump out as terribly interesting. Still, I was very impressed by it. Grabbed my attention right from the get-go.
