Okay, let me just get the crowd's opinion on this for a minute: if I stick with Speed, what are its chances? I really do think it's one of the best action movies of the 90's, maybe one of the best in the genre, period; an opinion that was only further bolstered by a re-watch this past weekend (even if it was on my Ipad during a long car ride). Would that get any support at any point?
Same question goes for The Rock. I know I love that movie more than anybody on here, most likely, so would a nomination on that be a waste?
I like those movies but we'd really need to be scraping the bottom of the barrel to vote for either of them, there's just a whole lot of better stuff.

Well, if Donny’s nominating Happy Gilmore and Tommy Boy, then I think me trying for Speed and/or The Rock doesn’t sound so crazy.

Secrets and Lies Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas The Last Emperor
As to The Rock or Speed, I like both movies, especially Speed, but as far as action movies not on the list, I'd be more concerned with getting The Road Warrior on the list. And probably The Terminator. I know we have a lot of Cameron already but my man had an awesome 80s and 90s and The Terminator is maybe his best film.
But if I got some support to get The Age of Innocence on this...who knows what could happen?

Ooo forgot Terminator. I’ll have to nom that in the future. Also may have missed Age of Innocence when nominated, I could support this as well.

Road Warrior…
Age of Innocence…
I’ll just keep some of my votes handy and open.

What comedies do we have on the list? I seem to remember the other list being very comedy light. Gotta remember to rectify that.
And any animated movies? Toy story perhaps?

I'd probably be willing to support The Lion King, Toy Story 2, or The Iron Giant.
As for comedies, we have a decent chunk. I think When Harry Met Sally is probably the next major one that deserves consideration.

Beauty and the Neast, princess Mononoke, Akira all in Spinal tap. Lebowski, Malkovich all in. I've been toying with throwing out Fish Called Wanda in later rounds.

But if I got some support to get The Age of Innocence on this...who knows what could happen? Hmmmm….. Also, I think Dracula might owe me a little something for helping with Groundhog Day.

I also like Galaxy Quest more than Ghostbusters. Could maybe support it later but there are other comedies I'd still put ahead of it. I doubt I'd get much support from Clerks other than maybe Drac if he was feeling generous. Doomsday might threaten self-harm if we got a Kevin Smith movie on though.
