*Possibly not a bad idea to skip the trailer. Just know it's a fantasy story with some familiarities to that of Avatar: The Last Airbender, where certain people have elemental powers.

Well this show turned out to be a pleasant surprise. One of the better offerings from Netflix. From the promotional stills, I figured it was yet another CW-esque bit of casting and acting, but I'm not sure I found a weak performance among the entire cast.
Looking forward to the next season. There should be plenty of story left to tell and look forward to. The writer of the series and universe (Leigh Bardugo) has done a good job pumping out new novels nearly every year since she began.

I have no idea what this show is, but according to Nielsen ratings, it’s the 2nd most watched show on streaming. It’s sandwiched in between season 4 of You and season 3 of Doomsday’s Mandalorian. 10 years ago, the top shows on cable were season 5 of Breaking Bad, seasons 3 & 4 of The Walking Dead and American Horror Story: Coven (season 3). IanTheCool, what are you thoughts on the current state of television?
