Adam Wingard in talks to return to MonsterVerse for new Kong film which reportedly is to be a reinvention of Son of Kong. The original Son of Kong came out in 1933 and saw Carl Denham returning to Skull Island to find hidden treasure only to stumble upon a smaller, albino Kong. King Kong Lives also introduced a Kong offspring.

But where this lies on Wingard schedule now that he already has Face/Off and Thundercats on it, who knows and who cares. MONSTERVERSE!
