Yeah I haven't read this one, and assume he isn't long for this world, but I really enjoyed his performance.

He added a lot more to the character than I was expecting to be there based on what I know about him. At first I thought he'd be the sort of yellow belly ruler that's easily overmatched by his domineering brother, but that's not the case. At least not yet... So that was nice, because we've seen that character before and what they lead to. How he handles the grief moving forward and how it changes him? Hopefully that's where things get interesting. Though I also don't think he's gonna be around long...

We've seen two dragons so far? Syrax and Caraxes I believe

Episode two was a dull one.

I enjoyed it. I always liked the palace intrigue stuff.
I need more crab content though.

Yeah I enjoyed it too, but there was less happening for sure. But if you think about it, the second episode of any game of thrones season was probably similar.

Second episode of Thrones had the aftermath of a child thrown out of a balcony by royalty, a gigantic wall of ice, a psychopath had a boy and wolf killed, and a boy became psychically linked to a wolf.

I'm digging it, just got caught up to ep 2, I think the girls acting on the bridge was okay hope she grows into the role a bit as we go into the season.
Everyone else doesn't bug me though.
Gimme more dragons.

Third episode was probably my favorite of the young season yet.

Welp guess that was your last chance for the growth.
Digging the idea of the time jump, get this story moving really quickly. Been solid eps from this show though, consistently looking forward to it every week.

I'll be disappointed to see Milly Alcock go. She's been great, but there's a lot of other great acting sticking around the show.

Show keeps getting better each week. It's certainly being helped by watching Rings of Power alongside this and seeing how vastly superior everything House of the Dragon is in comparison.

Yeah, the HBO secret ingredient seems to be casting. The performances here are so much better. But they also have the scripts to allow them to be as well.

Yeah, the HBO secret ingredient seems to be casting. The performances here are so much better. But they also have the scripts to allow them to be as well. The difference is that House of the Dragon feels consequential. The stakes are clear, the characters are defined. Rings of Power feels like a lot of talking with no actual development. House of the Dragon doesn't have the sweeping sprawl of Game of Thrones or Rings of Power, but I think that's to its benefit. The story is very contained and focused, and we're right where we're supposed to be as opposed to the sort of world hopping, bouncing around that has made Rings of Power feel so meandering.

They got a bunch of actors that are great in saying a lot without talking. That confrontation scene was stellar.

It sounds like people were having trouble with the darkness of the pictures? I had no issues.
