I loved walking around Best Buy and browsing everything in the store.
I don't think the big one at the Culver City mall will be going away. For now at least. Not that I've set foot in there in a couple years, but it's nice to know it's there.

Even further than that, I'd much rather go to a mall than one of them outdoor outlet things that have replaced then all.
I get that they're designed for working parents to park close by, and go in and out of one store, but that can't be true when they're packed.

I agree with what Ian said. F.Y.E. still exists. They bought out all the major music stores in the 2000’s, but with the exception of a few key states, they are pretty much nonexistent. If they had held on a bit longer, they’d be making bank right now. With the rise in popularity of vinyl (lol) and the decrease of competition in the blu-ray business (Best Buy, Target), they could at least be on the level of Barnes & Nobles. |

I kinda want to visit the Best Buy I worked at so long ago. I'm shocked it's still open (just checked Yelp) but I can't imagine that or other Best Buys are long for this world.
