But a miserable theatrical experience. Ridley Scott has found his true calling in the streaming age. Kingdom of Heaven came out 15 years too soon. Doomsday didn’t deserve that. |

Def no need to rush out to see this. Tonally strange almost throughout and some really weird choices. Among the strangest is putting phoenix as the lead. He can barely raise his voice above a raspy whisper for the big battle scenes. Like he's talking in the back of his throat almost like he never clears his throat.
Some of the battles are def cool to watch but a lot of the movie revolves around making fun of Napoleon in the bedroom and in his personal life.
Keep those expectations very low.
