Quantum Leap is one of those properties I'm shocked hasn't gotten some kind of movie or TV remake or reboot. But recently, I heard it's a rights issue cause the show was apparently created by a married couple who are now divorced.

One of my favorite shows of all time.
Not opposed to a reboot, but it should pay homage, and Sam should make appearances. Hell, maybe they can convince Dean Stockwell to come out of retirement.

Even if it doesn't tie into the original, the premise offers countless plot of the week stuff that I love
So long as the production value isn't complete Xtreme shit like some of this trailer, I'm cautiously optimistic.
