If they plan on having loads of nudity, then yes, Daddario. If not... I'm divided between Teresa Palmer and Krysten Ritter. I've never seen anything Teresa Palmer has been in, so I can't judge. I've liked Krysten Ritter in the stuff I've seen her in, but I've never seen her play anyone like Jessica. One of the things I'm most curious about is how the imagery is going to be handled. In the original Alias comics, the art style played an important part in how the story was told. Jessica is a character who is haunted by her past. Current events were drawn in a gritty style with subdued coloring. Her time as the superhero Jewel featured bright, modern style comic book art. Jessica's early days going to high school were done in a retro comics style of the sort you would find in romance comics from the fifties and sixties. If the producers of the show just do the entire thing in one style, I'm going to be very disappointed. There's a lot of opportunity here to do some very creative and innovative television. It would be a shame if that potential went to waste.    |

I've never seen anything Teresa Palmer has been in. You probably have but didn't notice. She's that blonde Australian girl who always gets cast as the tough/mysterious/butt-kicking tomboy. I think Warm Bodies is the one time she's been cast as the "romantic lead". Realistically, she's perfect for the role. But as you said, if they want to add sex appeal, Daddario and Ritter might have the edge. Don't misunderstand me. Palmer is beautiful too, but she's not the "girly" type and that might not appeal to fanboys. |

I don't now enough about the character to choose but I like Palmer. I'm not sure of Ritter is necessarily edgy. More flamboyant maybe. I've never seen her play anyone hard core, though I like her as an actor.
Can't really comment on the other two.

Some more names have been added to the possible Jessica Jones', as well as some potentials to play Luke Cage, who will be appearing in half of the episodes of this series in addition to his own. Marin Ireland has been added to the list of possibles for the lead. Those in the running for Luke Cage include Cleo Anthony, Lance Gross and Mike Colter.

Tennant will be playing Kilgrave aka: The Purple Man. He started out in the comics as a villain of Daredevil, so it's possible that we'll be seeing him in that series as well.  |
