Will the world be over superheroes? I think the world is just over mediocre superhero product right now. Case in point: Across the Spider-Verse and Guardians 3 doing so well.
Also, love the casting.

Agreed 100% - needs to be closer to guardians than prob a lot of people will like (the internet comparison and complaints will be fantastically meta) but it needs to lean into the camp of the galactic era of the MCU - it would be a perfect time to make fun of their failures and play with their own stories - hopefully not to the extent that taika did but more in line with gunns silliness.

I'm more interested in the retro look of the poster. It's got a very Space Race/Cold War era look, which I highly approve of. The Fantastic Four are a product of that era, and any movie about them should reflect that. The MCU gave us a proper WWII introduction for Captain America. The FF need the same treatment. It's fine if they eventually make their way to the modern MCU, but they shouldn't start there.

Feels like they have to do this for the big players just to have an origin story that doesn't also bring into question where they were during the blip.
Someone will bring them to modern times when needed.

Definitely starting out on the right foot. The Sixties is exactly what I wanted for the Fantastic Four. I'm sure it won't be everything I'd envisioned, but that's okay. I've already seen that movie in my imagination, anyway.

Now gimme Mole Man and it's about as perfect of a scenario as I can imagine for the movie.

Core four core four core four core four... Doom is an integral part of the origin story.
Convinced rdj is just a multiverse doom.

So doom isn't on the ship that turns them? And appears as a giant or is that some sorta more human like Galactus?
Certainly intrigued though.
