I think he'll be fine. Umbrella Academy has already stated they're sticking with him, and he's pretty well liked in the industry while the transition reaction has been fairly supportive. If Elliot Page suddenly disappears, I think people will notice.

But being transgender in filmmaking is an uphill battle. There's an opportunity here to open the door for the trans community in the industry, unless some Trump voting big shot fucks it up.
