How did this get a sequel? It was a total flop. Fox insisted that Fant4stic was getting a sequel for over a year before they finally admitted it was a failure. |

To be fair, we don't really know how much the movie made on "Theater At Home" streaming. For all we know it made a billion dollars and Neverending was renting it over and over to jerk off to Eiza Gonzalez. Most of, if not all, the box office revenue reported came from it's first (and pretty much only) weekend, then everything went to shit. But it's very much an "I'll believe it when I see it" scenario. |

But it's very much an "I'll believe it when I see it" scenario. was supposed to be Sony's launch of their Valiant Cinematic Universe. They're saying Vin Diesel is onboard because he signed a multi-picture deal. If the movie really was a success, then Sony would be rolling out more films based on Valiant Comics titles like Magnus: Robot Fighter, X-O Manowar or Ninjak. This is just Sony trying to boost sales on home video and streaming. |
