My Regal app still lists Unhinged, but we're still waiting to hear if the theaters up here will be opening on that date.

One of my local theaters sent out an e-mail last week saying that they were opening soon and in the same e-mail, listed Unhinged on August 21st, New Mutants on August 28th and Tenet on September 4th as upcoming releases. It's one of those theaters with the big cushioned seats with footstools in the wider aisles, so there's lots of room between rows and they said they'll automatically close off access to the first two seats on either side of you (more than six feet in distance) once you reserve yours ahead of time.
However...my state still has a lockdown order in place till at least September 11th, so that e-mail seemed mistaken/premature.

Regal will begin selling tickets on Friday. Or at least that’s the plan. That’ll give us the answer as to which cities will be getting theatres back. AMC also plans to re-open soon, but I guess they’re waiting for Regal (and to some extent Cinemark) to be the guinea pigs. |
