Most likely this is a one-and-done, since Marvel TV has gone over to Disney+.

Doesn't appeal to me. I'm hoping that Kevin Feige will eventually do something substantial with Marvel's horror characters. There are more than enough to build an ongoing movie series. If we got a new Marvel horror movie every October, it would make solid bank.

Doctor Strange 2 was supposed to be their first foray, but Scott Derrickson was leaning too much into it for Kevin Feige's tastes. Even with Sam Raimi at the helm now, I have serious doubts it's gonna be as horror-influenced as initially intended.

I'm anxious for MCU Blade, myself.

I'm excited about Blade, too...but I don't know how the hell they're gonna pull off something like that in the well-established MCU tone.

I suspect the folks at Disney were uncomfortable with Doctor Strange being in the horror realm, since Feige already had extensive plans to use him in the Infinity War/Endgame saga. Marvel's horror characters may traditionally include Doctor Strange, but he's not mandatory. Brother Voodoo could be used if the story calls for a sorcerer to step in.

Apparently Helstrom, the final series from Marvel TV under Ike Perlmutter's reign of terror has finally arrived. The reviews are universally bad, and it seems as though Marvel/Disney expected them to be so. They stripped all Marvel branding out of the credits. I haven't watched it myself, as I don't have Hulu. I suspect the only people watching are the same ones willing to suffer through Inhumans. None of the characters are reportedly anything even slightly like their comic book counterparts. The show is being buried, probably so that someday Marvel Studios can do something productive with the characters.

I'll give it look, but I kinda sorta forgot it still existed. Much less was coming out yesterday.

I'll give it look, but I kinda sorta forgot it still existed. Much less was coming out yesterday. There wasn't any promotion worth speaking of. Previous Marvel series have always enjoyed loads of online advertising. The only reason I know it came out is all the review articles that showed up in my news feed.
