Boo. Booooooooooooo. Anyways here's my plan to fix the game now that it's gonna rapidly fade into further obscurity: 1. 15 second pitch clock, penalty ball on first offense and penalty walk on second offense per batter. 2. Expand the strike zone. Thereby limiting the amount of batters can sit on pitches 3. Shift is gone 4. <15 second commercials interjected in between pitches in a split screen at places that make sense. Expand screen immediately upon pitch, like what happens during kickoff in some NFL games. Reduce half inning commercial time by at least half 5. NL and AL both get the DH, but any team forfeits the DH once a relief pitcher enters the game. NL rules from there on out. 6. Batters can only leave the box once per AB. Penalty strike first offense per team, penalty out second per team. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. |
