We watched that in high school. That and the Nick Cage/Meg Ryan classic City of Angels.

I had an English teacher who was obsessed with the movie Dead Poet's Society. We had to watch that movie like once every three months.
To this day I have an irrational loathing of that movie and refuse to watch it again.

That's the only scene from that movie I've seen. Nothing else in the movie could possibly live up to that, so I never sought it out.

I had an English teacher that in a period of 2 months showed us Midsummer Night’s Dream (1935); the one with James Cagney and the Wedding March, Henry V (1989), Twelve Night (1996), Midsummer Night’s Dream (1999), Love’s Labour’s Lost (2000) and probably some others I’m forgetting.

I had a Biology teacher in 7th grade who'd randomly put on movies on slow days. That class was where I first saw movies like Independence Day and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Yes, I saw Lost World before the first one. Same goes for the third, which my 7th grade Math teacher put on the day before Christmas break. And on the last day of 7th grade after tests/classes had finished, my homeroom teacher threw on Twister.
Now that I think about it...7th grade was the year I got introduced to a lot of those 90's blockbusters through school. Contact was in there somewhere, too.

If your teacher is making contact with you, please tell the authorities and point to the spot on the doll.

I'll always love Branagh for making some of the driest Shakespeare pop. Henry V's Non Nobis Domine scene is really great.

I made a promise to myself long ago that I would one day sit down and watch all forty hours of his version of Hamlet. So far I haven't lived up to that promise.

Not as good as the Gibson one, but it's good

I'll admit, much as I don't like Wild Wild West, Branagh is hands down the most entertaining part of that movie.

HE HAS SPIDER LEGS!
His character in that movie is fascinating to me, because if you've ever watched the TV show, Dr. Loveless is just an evil midget. Instead of giving a much needed job to a little person actor, they get Branaugh in to chew scenery with a southern accent, CG off the bottom half of his body, put him into a steampunk wheelchair, and make him drive a mechanical spider.
God, I love that movie.
