Baby Driver has one of the most immaculate soundtracks of the decade while Kong has one of the laziest Vietnam era song selections imaginable. Nothing in Kong even comes close to being as well staged as the Hocus Pocus chase or the opening chase and when Baby Driver is funny it's significantly more funny than Kong and it's cheap one-liners. Expectations can certainly affect viewings, but this really isn't close. You haven't addressed my giant octopus eating point. Or maybe it was a squid. Whatever. It ruled. It was a sixty second scene in a mediocre movies. Also gorillas are herbivores, so it was kind of illogical. |

As much as I love Skull Island, if Baby Driver loses this I will hate all of you fucks, so I change my vote to Baby Driver. Baby Driver is good, but didn't impress me as much as I hoped it would, whereas Skull Island was a pleasant surprise. Plus, as awesome as Baby Driver's sound design and ensemble cast is, at no point does a giant ape eat a giant octopus live. Skull Island is on TV all the day. I’ve grown affection towards it. Baby Driver I saw once at the theatre. I guess it’s technically better than Skull Island but I’d have to watch it again. I remember the ending being kinda stupid. |

Fast and Furious 6 (Salt has some cool moments, but it doesn't have cars that can flip other cars)
The other one is tricky because the action scenes in The Raid 2 are plainly better than the action scenes in X-Men, but DOFP is definitely a better overall movie. Will go with DOFP for now.

Salt has some cool moments You and I were the only ones that liked Salt in 2010 — and probably the only two that remember it exists a decade later. But yeah, Fast & Furious 6 is arguably peak Fast & Furious. And X-Men: DoFP is pretty cool. |

Going with the lesser of two evils here: Salt. Don't like either movie, but I'd rather sit through that again than a Fast & Furious movie.
