Winter Soldier. I would say Jack Reacher is the overall better movie, but it's hard to qualify it as an action movie. Winter Soldier has it beat in that regard.

Haven't seen Jack Reacher.
The first battle is tough though. Sicario is definitely a better made film. It looks fantastic and the performances are kinda great, whereas Expandables 2 is pretty clunky and the performances are lazy as balls. But on the other hand, Sicario being an action movie is kind of a huge problem. It's a movie that acts like its this serious drama about the drug war but is at odds with the Death Wish style screenplay. Expandables 2 may not be an especially good action movie, but it has no illusions about the fact that it is a meat-headed action movie and more or less gets that tone right.
I think I'm actually gonna vote Expendables, if for no other reason than I don't think I'd ever go "Gee whiz, I'm in the mood for an action movie. Let's watch Sicario"

If I had given enough of a shit to make a top 25 list like the rest of you, there is a good chance Expendables 2 would have been top 15, maybe 10.
But I didn't and here we are, and I find myself watching many of you make the incorrect decision.
(I'll jump on the Jack Reacher love bandwagon too, though I can't argue with those who prefer Winter Soldier, because...c'mon)
