5. Moana
I don't know why I like this one as much as I do. Ts not really my kind of movie, but there you have it. I even like the songs. Like, a lot.
4. The Lego Movie
I've always been a big lego maniac, but even so I was skeptical of a movie about lego. But low and behold, what I got was great. The animation was creative, the themes spoke to the purpose of lego itself, it was funny... it was awesome.
3. Toy Story 3
This might be the best of the series. I think maybe it is.

I'll tell you why Moana is so dang good. It's a story told with heart and compassion and it feels like a true Disney Renaissance film.

Moana may be the best of modern Disney. Curious what your top two will be.

Pretty clear that Angry Birds and its sequel have the top two spots locked in.

Agreed that Moana is one of the two best Disney movies of the decade despite kind of not really doing anything too special on paper.

6. Drive Officially the coolest film to ever exist.
I don’t particularly want to spend any time analysing it. It’s one of those rare occasions where style and just the right amount of substance collide to produce something truly seminal.
Did I buy a scorpion jacket on the back of this movie? Yes I did.
Did I run into a random guy on an empty street corner in Manhattan wearing the same jacket at 3am one random Wednesday night in Manhattan whilst on the lash with friends? Yes I did.
Did we embrace? You're goddamn right.
Herein lies the allure of Drive.
Plus, the soundtrack is the fucking bomb.

2. Your Name
As far as the animation is concerned, the is the most gorgeous looking film on this list. And the story, though weird, is really quite wonderful. Your Name really took me by surprise. It was very close to topping this list.
1. Inside Out
This is Pixar reaching back to its glory days of a decade earlier. You know, when it made Cars. I love the themes of Inside Out and how they mesh with these characters. There's a lot of imagination happening here. I seem to like Inside Out more every time I see it. It also has the added memory of me taking my niece to see this as her first movie when she was 4 years old.

Your Name is a cool choice. But no Zootopia? It would be 11 probably. I suppose it could replace Isle of Dogs, but oh well.

Top Ten Buddy Cop Flicks of the Decade
10. Let's Be Cops - on better thought let's not. But the chemistry between the two leads is solid although the video game storyline is somewhat insulting as a fan of the genre.
9. Bright - yea yea everyone says it's the worst thing ever, and it doesnt have much in the way of comedy but I wanted to set up a later entry in the top ten. But not as bad as reviews say, gimme a sequel.
8. The Guard - I remember watching and enjoying this but really I just wanted an international feel to this list, buddy cop flicks span borders as well as our hearts.

If your #1 is a severed head, I'm going to be very upset.
