I'm curating a list for my first foray. Add me to next round and ping me. Will see how I fare. I'm guessing the best option for looking into accessibility of films is those on major streaming services?

No not this time. I'm still having trouble finding my movie, and got a busy few weeks coming up.

All I've seen here is Klute, so you did well. I think I'll do Come and See. It's on Criterion Channel and highly praised. For you: PersonaThiefGrave of the Fireflies (since Neverending loved it so much) The HillBrazilIf you need more picks, either because you've seen most of these or are having trouble tracking stuff done, let me know.

Nilade is a grown ass man. He need no trigger warning. He watched Jodie Foster get gang raped on top of the pinball table. He can survive the Nightingale.

I'm gonna go Persona, it's on Amazon. Enjoy! Very art-house, but still pretty accessible. Also short.

THE COMPUTER WORE TENNIS SHOES (1969) Going with The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, aka the easiest movie on this list to find.
As for you...I need to do some research. You might be as tough to come up with a list for as Dracula.

Assassination of a High School President Thanks for the lunchtime entertainment. This is the movie that Rian Johnson’s Brick wanted to be. Noir-spoof about a high schooler searching for missing SAT exams. It’s fun. I liked it. Good cast. Misha Barton is Smokin’. Bruce Willis randomly pops up. Lol. Only glaring issue: it stinks of the 2000’s. SnoBorderZero will love it.

Come and SeeI've been vaguely aware of Come and See as one of the most universally acclaimed movies I'd never seen for a number of years now, but I don't think anything could have really prepared me for the film. This is one of the most harrowing movies I've ever seen. Set in a Belarusian village during World War II, Come and See follows a young boy who dreams of joining the resistance and fighting in the war. And then he does, and sees first hand the abject horror of the war. The film is not exceptionally graphic for most of its runtime, but it nonetheless presents an absolutely crushing depiction of World War II through its mixture of realism and surrealism. The film's ambient score feels almost horror-esque, becoming more and more crushing as time goes by. But for me, it was Come and See's cinematography that's proven most haunting. A reoccurring visual device has characters looking directly at the camera in close-up, which is immediately striking, but becomes a particularly powerful way to see the ways in which the horrors of war have fundamentally scarred young Flyora, who, by film's end, looks old well beyond his years. However, much of the most brutal visions are mostly eluded to, only shown in the briefest glimpses, or kept at the periphery. Just out sight, and yet so thoroughly emphasized. Honestly, I've had trouble shaking Come and See. Individual scenes like Flyora's return home, the mud, and the film's relentlessly upsetting third act have continued to linger. And the more they linger, the more sure I am of Come and See's greatness. Upon first viewing, I found myself unable to deny Elem Klimov's poetry and vision, but doubting I would ever watch the film again. But in the days since, I've found myself consistently drawn back and eager to return, if only to try and get a handle on my feelings. Come and See is not an especially complicated film in terms of plot or theme, but it renders its anti-war portrait with a great poignancy. A+thebtskink thanks for a great recommendation.
