The only negative press revolved around the actress that plays Shuri, who is an anti-vaxxer, and she’s barely in the trailer. I can't help but suspect that Shuri isn't going to survive the first act of the movie, considering that Angela Bassett says in her speech that she's the last of her family. Plus, Riri "Ironheart" Williams is in Wakanda Forever, and is also a tech genius at the same level as Shuri or Tony Stark. I don't know... Them having to shut down production for quite a bit when Letitia Wright (Shuri) both got injured while performing stunts AND when she got stuck out-of-country for a while before she got the vaccine suggests to me she's in the movie for a lot more than one act. I think either Shuri or Lupita Nyong'o's character is going to become the new Black Panther. |

Cool trailer but does make me quite nervous for this next generation of MCU stars. Ironheart as a whole is not interesting at all if you ask me, then add in shuri as the black panther and that's a whole lotta eye roll for me.
But maybe it's handled better than I fear.
