Wouldn't be surprised if it was via one of the various Earths on The Flash this season. They confirmed that already. Supergirl doesn't exist in Earth 1. |

PhantomKnight WyldstaarREALLY good Red Kryptonite episode. Usually, these are more comedic but they've given it a nice dark take. And Melissa Benoist is slowly becoming the best actor in the Berlanti universe.

CBS renewed the show, so that puts a pin in the talk of moving to CW for a year. I guess I should try watching this at some point.

Yeah, this week's episode was really strong. Also, glad CBS renewed it. I really can't wait for The Flash crossover.

I really wish the networks would make up their minds. If they're not sure they want to renew a show, fine. What's the point in announcing that you have renewed a show for a second season if you aren't entirely certain that it's what you're actually going to do? ABC pulled this same crap with Alias, except they cancelled the show less than a month after announcing that they wanted TWO more seasons. At least Supergirl is only moving to a new network.

Supergirl could totally fit on Thursday nights. Or... at this point The CW can throw the towel and just air back-to-back superhero shows. The Flash & Supergirl could totally work on Tuesday nights and then they just have to figure out what to do with iZombie.

Not sure about Legends, but Supergirl IS getting a full-22 episode order for Season 2. In that case, pairing it up with The Flash could totally work.

Monday: Supergirl and Jane the Virgin Tuesday: The Flash and No Tomorrow Wednesday: Arrow and Frequency Thursday: Legends of Tomorrow and SupernaturalFriday: The Vampire Diaries and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend The rest will air in mid-season. Supergirl and Jane the Virgin are a nice pair. The Flash AND Arrow being used to anchor new shows will be interesting. I don't think Legends and Supernatural are a good pairing, but at this point, the Supernatural fans will follow that show anywhere. And it's a shame that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend got dumped on Friday night. Honestly, they need to pull the plug on Arrow. Even the most hardcore fans hate the show. And I'm not sure Legends needs to be a full season show. iZombie and The 100 didn't really need to become mid-season shows. Supernatural and The 100 would have been a much better pair. And iZombie and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend could have been an interesting experiment.

He plays The Atom. Dean Cain plays Supergirl's Earth dad. So the only choice left is Tom Welling whose gone AWOL since Smallville ended. That or cast a new actor in the role. I think the latter is the better choice. Tom Welling was decent in early seasons of Smallville but eventually he stopped giving a shit and has left the industry. |

Considering how well Berlanti and Company handle live action incarnations of DC characters, this Superman will be far more loyal to the source material than the dark, brooding, angst ridden, and absurdly foolish version we've seen on the big screen.
