I was screwing around on letterboxd and ended up looking up what the highest rated films on the site are, which I haven't seen.
So, here are, according to letterboxd users, the top ten best films I've never seen (not counting TV, documentaries, concert films, or shorts).
1. Come and See (1985) 2. Stalker (1979) 3. Persona (1966) 4. Fanny and Alexander (1982) 5. In the Mood for Love (2000) 6. Sansho the Bailiff (1954) 7. Sherlock, Jr. (1924) 8. Late Spring (1949) 9. A Woman Under the Influence (1974) 10. A Man Escaped (1956)

Not only have I not seen any of those, I'm not even sure I've heard of any of them. 'In the Mood for Love' sort of sounds familiar. 'Stalker' and 'Persona' too, but those are kind of generic titles I might be confusing with something else.

I had the chance to see Stalker with a friend at the BFI this week but was too ill to go. I've downloaded it to watch over the weekend instead.

I've heard of everything except Come and See. I'm very interested in all ten.

I was expecting to see a Pixar film on your list until I remembered that you took all those in a year or two ago.

Harakira, The Passion of Hoan of Arc, High and Low, and Ikiru are all excellent. Also, Howl's Moving Castle is more fantasy than science-fiction.

Websites like this are always terrible at classifying movies into genres.

I use the heart for designating when three stars is a C+ (no heart) and when it is a B- (a heart).
