Ok I was talking about 3 rd movies in a trilogy. In resent years 3rd Movies end up being just bad films. We are talking films made post 1999. The Dark Knight Rises, Spiderman 3, Transformers Dark Moon, Pirates Of The Caribbean 3. X-Men The Last Stand. Matrix 3. Now Marvel made films can be the exception. Iron Man 3 was not a bad Films. Would have liked the real Mandarin but the movie worked.

I also said i didn't see Avengers 3 Being better then Age Of Ultron but nowhere did I say it be a bad movie. I expect it to be least Avengers 1 good which i loved. I personally want Evans to do least 4 Captain America solo movies cause those movies were just good and without Iron Man solo films Cap films should go on.

I think Comic Book overload will happen. Right now Avengers is and Hot thing Primarily Guardians and Captain America. Age Of Ultron will be hitting theaters at the right time. But Trinity will hit after Dr Strange, Cap 3 Ant Man, Black Panther, Guardiana 2 ,Thor 3 and Captain Marvel. Not including DC's lets call it Faze One attempt. Avengers part one and 2 may still be good but could hero movies could be stale by then.

I Mean Avengers 1 and 2 will work because the core group. I just dont believe you can Remove Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Steve Rodgers Cap, Black Widow and Hawkeye and replace maybe some for lower key members. I think they should keep Core Originals but add new Avengers only for that one particular film. Im fine with them using SW Vision and QS for AOU but Trinity Part One and Two Dr Strange and Black Panther with Ant Man Wasp and Captain Marvel and Not including Age Of Ultron Avengers.

Now the next Avenger after Trinity should be Skrulls or Kree you could drop Ant Man and Wasp and Drop Hawkeye for a Movie and Bring back Vision and SW but add Maybe She-Hulk and dare a I say Wolverine if they being Fox Kill off Wolverine by then.

Why I am hesitant about The Avengers Trinity is Brolin as Thanos. I simply believed Vin Disel had the imposing Build to play the Mad Titan while Voicing Groot. Brolin has bad luck in movies at times. Jonah Hex. Cast of Thanos just has me worried while Spader voicing Ultron seems to be fantastic.

I think 'The Avengers' deserves the nod because it managed to successfully tie four franchises together. 'The Winter Soldier' is great because it does things that 'The Dark Knight' did well by taking a story you could have told without superheroes, a crime drama in TDK and a political thriller in TWS, and making it better because of their involvement. It also serves as a political commentary and tells a story that isn't necessarily obvious on screen or on the page.

But 'The Avengers' took four very different characters - a techno-billionaire, a God from another world altogether, a soldier frozen in time, and a classic movie monster - and married them together, but also kept them diverse and different enough that when the event was over they could go their own separate ways and continue to be involved in interesting stories. From a structure standpoint, I think a lot of people thought Whedon would fail in his attempt to unify the franchises. It was a daunting task, and he crushed it.

John already touched on this but Avengers has more moving parts and logistics to consider. In short it's degree of difficulty is higher and therefore gets the edge with its excellent execution.

You want argue that you enjoy Winter Solider more as entertainment or out of narrative preference that's fine. But to say Winter Solider is vastly superior is just bad analysis.
