The majority of the newly announced movies will be released in the UK a full week before the USA, for some reason.

That's pretty normal isn't it? I know it bothers a lot of people, but I don't know that I really care. I do think it's a little ironic that Captain America is coming out in the UK first, but whatever.

Now that you mention it I remember a minor kerfuffle arising from one of the more recent sequels, or maybe even the first Avengers, getting an early release over here.

Yeah it sounds familiar. I mean I would love to see all of these films early, the earlier the better. And I don't quite understand the business purpose behind releasing it in the UK or anywhere else sooner than your biggest market. But... it's a week. Not the end of the world. With my schedule these days, I generally am not seeing these movies the day they come out anymore anyway. I don't think I saw 'The Winter Soldier' until the following Tuesday or Wednesday. I can handle a week.

THOR: RAGNAROK I wonder if this involves Thanos attacking Asgard to retrieve the Infinity Gauntlet, that's kept in Odin's vault. Maybe, Odin calls upon his allies- the Olympians to aid Asgard and would be a good opportunity to introduce Zeus, Hercules, Ares and others.

Thanos likely would hire thugs to attack Asgurd and sends his step daughter to get the Guantlet and Cube but I have a feeling the Asgurd attack could open Avengers Part one and Thor is so badly hurt it kinda explains why he is not in Avengers and with the events of Civil War Avengers Trinity Part 1 will likely show a new Team lead By Iron Man, Black Widow and Hawkeye.

Last I check North American Box Office more or less means US And Canada. Kinda hard to seperate Canada and US when says North American Box Office.
