My parents didn't watch The Carol Burnett Show usually, so I mainly knew Tim Conway from the Disney movies he did, like The Apple Dumpling Gang and The Shaggy D.A. He did loads of guest appearances on shows throughout the 80's that I saw as well. I think the last movie I saw him in was Dear God, in which he played an unstable mail man who once bit a dog. Not a particularly good movie, but he was funny in it.

I think this is my absolute favorite skit from the show.
Conway was notorious for not showing up for rehearsals and in this one, as in many, what he ended up doing really cracked the cast up because this is the first time they are hearing and seeing what he was actually going to do.
